Marked down as the clamp was very poorly machined. The holes were not tapped deep enough and the bolt threads bottomed long before even beginning to tighten the clamp. Fortunately I am a mechanical engineer and was able to fix. This would not have been possible for anyone without the correct tools and ability to carry out the necessary fix. Otherwise it is fine but quality control definitely lacking with the clamp.
