Minicruiser:
A mini-cruiser made of plastic is also called a pennyboard and is like a lighter version of a skateboard. The word penny originally originated from the brand name Penny Australia, which were made back in the 70s, but has gradually become a synonym for small plastic skateboards, regardless of the manufacturer. Penny boards are made in a big and small version, namely "Nickel" (Big Mom) 27 "and" Classic "22". A penny board is good for anyone who wants to start skating and who wants a light transportable board. The small version classic penny is ideal for young people, children and small-footed people. Penny Nickel (Big Mum) is a more stable board that is easier to keep the balance, making it more suitable for larger people, beginners and skaters who want a penny board reminiscent of the regular skateboard. A minicruiser made of wood is often bigger than the little penny classic. Grip tape is mounted on the deck, so you are sure to have a good grip on the deck. Because the tire is often slightly larger than pennyboard, the truck is also wide; also the wheels. This gives more stability and grip in the way, making it better to carve. These characteristics correspond exactly to the longboardets. Therefore, roughly speaking, a minicruiser made of wood is a light version of a longboard.Read more about mini-cruisers in our broader skateboard guide found on the homepage.
