Kitesurfing is an extreme sport but in generel there are two types of athletes - the clam cruiser and the wild freestyler. For the regular clam athlete it is better to ride a slow steering kite than a small and quick kite. The last mentioned kite suites wave surfers and high performance riders the best.
Size of Bars for Kitesurfing
Rule of Thumb: Small size kites are used with narrow bars and visa versa.

Narrow kite bars will turn your kite more slowly which is perfect for smaller kites which are already fast. The opposite is true for a large kite that already moves slowly and therefore need a wider bar.
However, the above table only applies to kitesurfers who are freeriders. The size of your kite bar also depends on the riding style and level.

A kitesurfer who practices wave kitesurfing is best off with a narrow bar as they ride small kites and want to follow the waves. Freestyle kitesurfers will be better of with a wider bar.

Neoprene boots are very useful when you go into the water in places where there may be sharp stones or shells. Danish waters are cold, so neoprene boots are a must if you want to stay warm. You typically use neoprene boots for SUP surfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, windsurfing, and regular surfing in waves. There are different types of neoprene boots depending on the type of sport you are going to use them for. For kitesurfing, windsurfing, and surfing, you need a very flexible neoprene boot so that you are not hindered when performing tricks.
When choosing the size of your neoprene boots, we recommend choosing the same size as your regular shoes. A neoprene boot should fit snugly around your entire foot and not let water in. If your neoprene boot is too large, water will get in, and your boots will become heavy. On the other hand, boots that are too small will not be comfortable, as they will become unbearable over time, just like with regular shoes.
There are many different thickness levels for neoprene boots. The typical thickness is 5 mm, which is the recommended thickness for an all-round Danish neoprene boot. Some surfers use thinner neoprene boots during the summer and thicker ones during the winter. However, the most common thickness is definitely 5 mm.

Sizeguide for Plastic Penny Boards
You'll find the original penny cruiser boards in two sizes - 22" and 27".
The smaller 22" penny board is easy to handle and you can bring it along whereever you go. This makes it a good choice for commuting adult skaters or children up to 10 years old.
The larger 27" penny board is more stable and handles more like a normal size cruiser.

Snowboard size and type
Length:
Rule of thumb - your Snowboard should reach the height of your chin (rule best suited for all-mountain snowboards).
Choose a slightly longer board if you are a heavy rider and visa versa.
The perfect length for you depend on a few more factors. Ask yourself: what type of riding are you aiming for? Choose a shorter board if you ride snowparks. Choose a slightly longer board if you fide off-piste and freeride.
Width:
Wider boards are good for lift and helpfull in offpiste and freeride. Narrower boards are faster and more suited for the piste.
Tip: If your shoe size is use greater than US 10 (43 EU) choose a wide snowboard. This way your bindings and boots will not extend beyond the edges and you'll prevent them from griping the snow.

A wetsuit can be used to multiple of various water activities, e.g., kite surfing, kayak and SUP. In Denmark you almost always have to use a wetsuit, due to the water rarely reaching high temperatures.Â
