Still water
Still water without ripples or wind. Often found on rivers or lakes. It can be experienced on open sea, but it is very rare. Ideal for those who wants to relax and enjoy some pleasant times on their SUP board.
Open sea and waves between 0-50 cm
Can be still water, but more often with ripples. Meaning small waves near sandbanks and the beach. These mild waves are optimal for any and all who would like to try out surfing on a few waves and experience many hours of fun on their SUP board.
Open sea and waves between 50-200 cm
This type of SUP surfing is for the pro surfers, who knows what they want, can do and need. It is by far the fewest who needs an inflatable SUP suitable for this type of SUP surfing.
Race – High speed
Race is a type of SUP surfing where there’s better momentum and more stability. It is therefore for those who wants to get out on the water and explore. Also called Touring. It is also for those wishing to get to A and B a lot faster. The good thing about these narrower types of SUP boards is that they are more directionally stabile, which makes it so that you don’t have to change between sides as often when paddling.
Cruising and easy SUP surfing
You are out to relax, you’re not in a hurry and all you really want is to enjoy some nice pleasant times sailing around on the water. Relaxation and sun bathing, a chat with friends or family, simply put cozy SUP boards with a high balance.

I hadn’t heard of Story Skates, just happened on a sale for them. I have an odd foot size but researched what I could and purchased a pair. The skate is well put together and should be more than adequate. I immediately changed out the frame and wheels as I have a five wheel frame but the original frame seems very robust - I want to try it and will put on another pair of skates I have. I’ve used the skates three times and love the responsiveness and feel of the skate.
